2024 Local Packages

Perfect for Top Bar hives or replacing a dead-out. These boxed packages come with a new, caged locally bred queen and 3lbs of live bees. To install, remove the queen cage from the box and shake the package of bees into your hive. Then, remove the cork plug from the queen cage and replace with a provided candy plug. Hang the queen cage from a frame for a slow release. 

They will be available starting mid-June, with some potential variation depending on the weather and Spring build-up. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required per package to reserve which you can pay by calling the shop, or pay in full directly from this page. Full payment is due 10-days before pick up.  Live bees are not taxed. Package bees are for pick-up at store only.  Sorry, we cannot ship
