April 5th, 2025 Beginner Course

Brought to you by Country Fields and Barry Yhard, this entry level course is designed for beginners to introduce students to the basics of beekeeping. Students will get a basic understanding of honey bee anatomy as well as how to look after their hives through the each stage of the year. We will also be covering basic equipment, how to properly manage your bees during swarm season and how to identify common pests and diseases.


The 8 hour course will take place at Country Fields Beekeeping Supplies - 11 Falls Run, Fall River, Nova Scotia - on Saturday, April 5th from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
